A1 Technical R&D Ltd., was established in
1997. The company focuses on Digital Signal Processing (DSP)
which is the most dinamically growing field of the semiconductor
industry. We put DSP theory and technology into practice
in the field of data communication and measurement technique.
The basic principle of our strategy is continuous innovation,
we always use the most up-to-date technology in our new
developments.
In the field of data communication, as a strategic partner
of Inside Out Networks (a Digi International Company, USA)
A1 participates in the design and development of USB (Universal
Serial Bus) based data transmission equipments, interface
converters and sensor devices. The company also acts as
a VAR (Value Added Reseller) of ION's products in the region.
Since we participate in the design and development of the
USB product line we can also provide state-of-the-art technical
support to our partners with respect to these devices.
In the field of measurement technique A1 focuses on biomedical
engineering as well as on industrial automation. One of
the novel areas where DSP can play an important role is
biomedical instrumentation. Our DSP based stand-alone and
integrated measuring systems and research instruments support
R&D activities in physiology and pharmacology.
The other field of measurment technique is industrial automation
especially process and quality control. Process and quality
control generally involves real-time and/or off-line measuring
and collecting relevant process parameters to provide information
to the control system, influencing decision making procedures.
To support information feedback from the real world, A1
provides a growing assortement of intelligent sensor devices
and systems.
An important part of our activity portfolio is the design
and development of fully custom, DSP based systems. This
activity can be paraphrased as giving unique solutions to
unique problems. This R&D activity includes system design,
development of signal processing and measuring algorithms
as well as hardware and software implementation of the given
task.
